Your support can be the difference between someone feeling that they are trapped in an abusive relationship with no options, and being able to leave because they know that we are here with specialized, tailored support for them.

Where do your donations go, exactly?

  • $475 – one domestic violence forensic exam
  • $100 – one replacement eye glasses
  • $90 – one night’s emergency housing assistance
  • $75 – one set of replacement locks for a home
  • $65 – one empowerment class for twelve victims
  • $35 – one hour of crisis counseling
  • $35 – one hour of civil legal aid
  • $20 – one victim expense card for basic necessities

In-Kind Donations

We greatly appreciate donations of goods, services, and expertise. Our wish list currently includes:

  • $20 gift cards to a local grocery store for victims to purchase basic necessities
  • $10 gift cards to a local gas station for victims to purchase gas to drive to/from appointments
  • Jimmy John’s gift cards, bottled water, or soda cans to nourish victims while they are at the Center

In-kind donations can be dropped off at Faces of Hope Victim Center between 8am and 5pm, any weekday (417 S. 6th Street, Boise, ID 83702).

Charitable Funds

Direct contributions from your charitable fund at the Idaho Community Foundation, or another financial institution, can be made to support Faces of Hope Foundation. Learn more, here.

Stock or Mutual Funds

Gifts of stocks or other securities like bonds or mutual funds are tax-deductible, as long as you have held it for at least one year, and there is no obligation to pay any capital gains tax on the appreciated value.

Matching Gifts

Many companies will match your contributions to organizations like Faces of Hope Foundation, in order to support your philanthropy efforts and benefit the community. This is a good way to increase the impact of your giving. Contact your human resources department to find out if your company will match your donation and how to sign up.  You can increase the impact of your giving and help your company get involved in the movement to end abuse and neglect in our community.
